Viva El Papa!

Long live the Pope! Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger has been elected the new head of the Catholic Church. He has chosen the name Pope Benedict XVI.

It is very interesting that I came across the Cardinal Ratzinger Fan Club a few days before John Paul II died. I wrote about it here on March 29th. Now he is the new Pope. I was secretly hoping that he would be elected, to continue in the footsteps of JP2.
