In the current issue of The Tidings, there is an excerpt of a 1976 interview with Cardinal Wojtyla (before he was named Pope). The most powerful quote, in my opinion, is an answer addressing the 'new morality' of the world. He said, "Freedom is not that I can do what I want, but to realize and know true good and then choose the true good."
