Newsweek Cover: Spirituality in America

The September 5th issue of Newsweek's cover story focuses on Spirituality in America. From what I have read so far, it seems like a very good issue. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a small mention about Cursillo. This is the main ministry that I am involved with. The article got it a little wrong when they described the Cursillo Weekend as a three-day retreat of silent contemplation. There is a bit of silence on the first night, but there is a whole lot more involved.

I also enjoyed the article, Roman Catholicism: 'Hail Mary' Is More Than a Football Play. More than anything else, I really hope that when my children get to college, they will be like those students described in the article. Kids with a rich, vibrant, and visible faith.
