Prayers For Lisa

For the past two years, Lisa has been working very hard on her doctorate degree in audiology. She has been taking one class at a time and it has been manageable with her work and family-time schedule. This term, she is taking two classes, and they are the last two classes that she needs for her degree requirements. One of the classes was only being offered this term or in one year. She did not want to wait until next year to finish up, so she signed up for two classes. As it turns out, one of these classes, seemingly has double the reading and work load. It is like she is carrying three classes instead of one!

It seems to be affecting her health and general well being. She is really stressing out. She cannot spend her time after work playing with her kids (or husband) because she needs to study. She half jokingly said to me that it is like she is in prison. I am doing all I can to make things easier for her. Trying my best to encourage her.

Her midterm exams are this week. Then there will be about six more weeks until her finals. After that, she still needs to take a comprehensive exam and complete a research project, but these do not have a pressing time table as to when they are to be completed. Please pray to give her the strength to finish, with her sanity and good health still intact. Thanks.
