An Alex Reading Milestone

Alex has been reading one chapter book almost every night before he goes to sleep. It is part of his nighttime routine. I have tried to get him to read something longer than a chapter book. He has been hesitant because he would not be able to finish it in one night and he was a little intimidated by the significant increase in the number of pages. He finally decided to tackle Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It took him four or five days to read the whole book. I have to say that I am impressed with his dedication to completing his goal. I need to learn from him. Great job!
