Kids Are So Literal

We went through the McDonald's drive-thru today. When you order a Happy Meal, sometimes they will ask if you want a boy or a girl toy. For some reason the boy-toy always seems to be a lot more fun to have. Today, Marisa asked me if she could have a boy-toy. As we were going through the drive-thru the kids had made a decision that she would have to hide the fact that she is a girl from the cashier. But since it was too hard for her to hide, she had to pretend that she was a boy. Alex even made it a point to call out her new boy name, Mark, very loudly as I was paying. "Oh boy MARK, I can't wait for our Happy Meal (giggle, giggle)!!!"
