Notice how she dodges the Senate question. I am not sure what would be best for the country in the long run. If she won the seat, she could have a job for life. She would gain valuable Washington D.C. experience just like Obama. If she lost, then her political career would be over, at least nationally. If she chose not to run, and stayed in Alaska, could she still be effective as a Washington outsider on the national ticket in 2012?
