Yesterday, Lisa took the day off and we spent the day at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Once a year they will close the park to the general public and will have a 'Home School Family Day'. This was the third year in a row that we have done this. It was once again a great experience, especially now that the kids are getting a little taller and older, so that they can ride on more of the attractions.
This is a great day to experience Six Flags. There are hardly any lines. Sometimes you are able to ride a couple of times before having to get off. We do not have to worry about any gang presence; I haven't heard about any homeschooling gangs roaming the streets causing havoc with their slide rules and spelling bee study books. Also, we do not have to worry about seeing the typical clothes that teens wear that are a little bit too revealing. Modesty seems to be something that these kids have been taught and learned well.
We all are looking forward for next year!
