Poker Hand Odds You Must Know

To have a reasonable chance at beating your next Texas Hold 'Em game, I believe that you must memorize the following table. It shows the probability of catching an 'out' on the turn/4th street (47 unseen cards), the river/5th street (46 unseen cards), and the turn or river (after the flop; turn and river combined). 'Outs' are the number of cards that can 'make' your hand. For example, if you are looking for that flush on the river, there are 9 cards/outs that can help you at a probability of almost 1 in 5 (13 clubs in the deck minus 4 clubs in your hand or on the board equals 9 clubs remaining).

Probability of Catching an Out:
Outs - Turn(%) - River(%) - Turn or River(%)
