Ash Wednesday Mass Reflection

The Gospel reading for today is from Mt 6:1-6, 16-18. Today is the start of Lent. I went to the school Mass to receive my ashes. I had given some thought about what I want to change about myself during this time. I seem to get angry at Alex too quickly. He is the only one that I do this. Perhaps it is because he is the most like me. I see a lot of myself in him, both positive and negative.

So my mission for this Lenten season is to be more patient with Alex. Don't let the first response to his actions be one coming from anger. Pray for me.

Alex and Marisa have said that they will give up the Wii for the entire 40 days! Good luck with that...
